- GPU acceleration: uses CUDA on NVIDIA cards (distil-large-v3), and falls back to CPU automatically on any other machine
- Smart dictation: spoken punctuation ("period", "comma", "new line"), filler-word removal, stutter cleanup, and hallucination suppression
- More cloud providers: OpenAI, Groq, and Google Gemini
- Two trigger modes: Hold-to-Talk or Tap-to-Toggle hands-free
- Settings window: pick your microphone, model, API keys, and hotkey, plus a live mic test meter
- New floating widget with a live audio meter, transcript history, and one-click copy
- Fixes: UI freeze during mic test, hotkey deadlock, and a crash on empty/silent audio
