Fixes

  • #730 iOS: useRenderInContext: true now honours width/height. Before, renderInContext: drew the layer at its own size, so a smaller output size cropped the capture to its top-left part and a larger one padded it with transparent pixels. The capture is now scaled to the requested size, like the default drawViewHierarchyInRect: path (also with snapshotContentContainer). Captures without width/height are unchanged. Thanks @mkantautas!

Released as a minor version because useRenderInContext captures with width/height now produce a different (correctly resized) image. If you relied on the old crop/pad output, check your captures.

Docs, examples & CI

  • #731 example app: new Resize screen and e2e test covering width/height
  • #732 weekly React Native compatibility watch (rn-compat.yml)
  • #733 dev toolchain and CI moved to Node 24 (the published engines.node is unchanged: >=20.19.4)
  • #724 #725 #726 #727 #728 #729 security dependency bumps (dev and example apps only)
