Quick Start

  1. Download and unzip PotaSpotHunter-v1.9.3.zip
  2. Start the proxy — open a terminal, navigate to the unzipped folder, and run python3 PotaProxy.py. On Windows, after installing Python, you can also just double-click PotaProxy.py in File Explorer. The proxy opens your browser automatically. No radio required — the Rig Control dropdown defaults to None.
  3. Click-to-tune (optional) — start MacLoggerDX, flrig, or rigctld, select it from the Rig Control dropdown, then click any spot row or map marker to tune your radio.

Requires Python 3.6+.
