Schwitzer 0.3.2

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 25 Oct 22:21

Added

  • Add a quick idea field above the sessions

Changed

  • Focus the quick idea field with Ctrl+L instead of Ctrl+I
  • Check a debug instruction like every other text field
  • Round the log budget wait up to whole seconds like the request budget
  • Send the build version in the user agent towards GitHub
  • Log start failures and an unremovable resume file through tracing
  • Space the debug page's folder and command rows on the spacing scale
  • Drop malformed repo and commit-trailer keys from settings.toml

Removed

  • Stop moving old repo links without a project to project 1

Fixed

  • Forget the debug inbox of rooms the server no longer lists
  • List only the files that are sent as sent in debug_status
  • Show IPv6 server addresses in brackets
  • Show a full disk or unreadable folder on the Debug page
  • Clear Debug page counts when you leave a session or it is replaced
  • Ignore Ctrl+N and Ctrl+L while the plugin prompt is shown
  • Show the short id for members that never said hello
  • Keep the site's download buttons off the server tarballs

Install

  • Linux: download the .AppImage for x86_64 or aarch64, make it executable (chmod +x) and run it. Or unpack the .tar.gz and run schwitzer.
  • macOS (Apple silicon): unpack, move Schwitzer.app to Applications and run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Schwitzer.app once; the app is not notarized.
  • Windows: run …-windows-x86_64-setup.exe; it installs for your user, without admin rights. Or unpack the zip and run schwitzer.exe. SmartScreen asks once because the app is not signed.
  • Server (Linux x86_64 or aarch64): unpack schwitzer-server-…-linux-<arch>.tar.gz; the binary is static. Start it with --auto-update to install new releases in place and restart; keep it in a folder the server's user can write to.

Keep the app (the AppImage too) in a folder you can write to: it installs new releases in place and restarts.

Development build 0.3.3-dev.215 of 1f5aee6: every commit on main that passed CI lands here. It can break.

The app installs it on the Dev update channel (Settings, Updates); a server with --auto-update --update-channel dev. Downloads have the same names as in a release.
