Create and rig 3D models with Tripo

  • Generate meshes with Tripo H3.1, Tripo P1, and Tripo P2 Preview. Choose a text prompt, a reference image, or multiple named views in the existing wide prompt composer. Texture, geometry, and mesh options stay in the generation settings.
  • Open 3D → Rigging to check an existing GLB and add a skeleton. Compatible models are offered for humanoid characters and supported creatures. You can also send a saved model to Rigging from its 3D viewer.
  • Inspect the rigged model with visible bones and joints, compare it with the original, and preview Dance or Samba on compatible humanoid skeletons. Play, pause, and return to the original pose without changing your saved or downloaded GLB. Motion previews run locally and use no generation credits.
  • Choose Grida credits for the selected organization or connect your own Tripo API key in Settings. The selected funding source stays explicit; a failed request never silently switches accounts.

Clearer model choices and image previews

  • Model pickers identify legacy models and prefer current defaults while keeping explicitly selected, available models selectable.
  • Generated-image previews keep the image visible even with a long prompt. Expand the prompt when needed or copy it directly.

Before you start

Tripo generation and rigging require Desktop 0.0.24 or later and an available funding source. Reference images must be PNG or JPEG, up to 20 MB each; rigging accepts a self-contained GLB up to 60 MB. Preview motions require a compatible humanoid rig and are not included in exported models. Dance is CC0; Samba retains Adobe/Mixamo's terms, shown in the viewport information.
