This repository owns GridPool's draft protocol language, interoperability vectors, and technical whitepapers.
Cross-project architecture, decisions, roadmap, and agent-ready context live in the GridPool handbook. This repository remains canonical for protocol language and future test vectors.
- GridPool V2.2 protocol model: current cross-project consensus entry point and deployment status.
- V2.2 reference-node design and state machine: detailed Monotonic Snapshot Reconciliation design implemented by the reference node.
- V2.2 coordinated cutover: version, activation, migration, and rollout notes.
- V2.1 protocol foundation: ranked unpaid work, snapshots, paid-once lineage, and boundary finality retained by V2.2.
The whitepapers explain the V2.1 statistical and state-machine foundation plus the V2.2 reconciliation upgrade. They are not normative interoperability specifications. The V2.2 documents above define the current design, while the reference implementation and tests describe deployed behavior. Independent implementations still require a consolidated normative specification and deterministic test vectors.
