On 2026 July 25, version 2.59.0 was released, featuring a new synthesizer. All audio code related to synthesis has been rewritten. Although we aimed to reproduce the exact same sound, achieving a bit-for-bit identical replica of the previous version proved impossible. Consequently, every composition will sound slightly different.

It was absolutely necessary to rewrite the synthesizer, because on many computers, creating a complex composition caused the Chrome tab to crash 💥

Additionally, the wtposCurves feature has been removed 😔 it allowed for the automation of the oscillators' wtpos (WaveTable POSition). However, this wtpos parameter now has its own envelope and LFO, just like detune and other parameters. We also have a new pan and lowpass LFOs 🤗
