Deck Mixer 0.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@Pamotis Pamotis released this 01 Oct 01:23

Deck Mixer 0.2.1 — same features as 0.2.0 (Claude designs your plan decks); the extension's support link now points to growingpai.com.

What's new

  • Claude designs the slides. create_plan_deck accepts a slide_plan from Claude; the command line has build plan --plan slides.json. The design rules Claude follows are the same ones the built-in AI planner uses.
  • Review the outline first. Ask Claude to show you the slide-by-slide plan before it builds anything (plan_only, or build plan --plan-only), and change it together — "make slide 3 a photo slide".
  • Safe by design. If a slide in the plan doesn't fit (unknown layout, too much text for a statement slide, a missing heading), only that slide falls back to the built-in layout, and Claude is told what to fix.

deck-mixer-0.2.1.mcpb Claude Desktop Double-click it. Claude Desktop installs everything (including Python) and shows a settings form. Needs a recent Claude Desktop. Replaces earlier versions.

Bring your own API key — still recommended

Deck Mixer ships with no API key. You still want your own for images (and for the AI design of tender decks); without one, image slots stay grey placeholders. One free Gemini key covers it — get it at aistudio.google.com/apikey and paste it into the extension's settings form, or run pandoro deck-mixer configure --gemini-api-key YOUR-KEY. See API keys.

Deck Mixer is shared as-is, without support — Growing pAI publishes tools it uses itself to show how it works. Want to explore what AI can do for your team? Get in touch.

Deck Mixer 0.2.0 — Claude designs your plan decks

@Pamotis Pamotis released this 01 Oct 00:44

Claude now designs your plan decks. When you use Deck Mixer inside Claude (the Claude Desktop extension or the skill), Claude acts as the art director for plan and proposal decks: it chooses each slide's layout, writes the headlines and bullets, and describes the images — no planner API key needed for that.

Bring your own API key — strongly recommended

Deck Mixer ships with no API key. Without one, decks still build but look basic (rule-based layouts, grey image placeholders). Add your own key for the real result: an AI designs each slide (text) and generates matching images. One free Gemini key covers both — get it at aistudio.google.com/apikey and paste it into the extension's settings form, or run pandoro deck-mixer configure --gemini-api-key YOUR-KEY. Claude, OpenAI, Stability, Together, fal, Replicate, Pexels and Unsplash keys work too — see API keys.

Highlights

  • Your colours, logo and company PowerPoint template; every slide stays editable.
  • Confidential cases are shown as "the client" on slides and in speaker notes — and before anything is sent to an AI provider.
  • Text is fitted to every box; full text stays in the speaker notes.
  • Leave the case library empty to try three invented sample cases.
