v1.1.0 — Upgrade Notifications & Smoother Updates

What is this?

This release adds an in-plugin notification system so you automatically see "What is new" after upgrading — and get notified when even newer versions come out.

What is New

  • "What is New" notice — when you update the plugin, you will see a quick summary of what changed
  • Update checker (optional) — checks GitHub for newer releases (once per day) and shows a badge in the plugin header and an Obsidian notice
  • Settings toggle — disable update checking in OpenCode → Settings → Behavior if you prefer
  • Better release notes — each release now documents what changed and why it matters

Why Upgrade

  • Know immediately when fixes or features ship
  • No more wondering if you are on the latest version
  • If you are on v0.2.1, you also pick up the view-location fix and server-startup fix from v1.0.0

Files

  • main.js — compiled plugin
  • manifest.json — Obsidian plugin manifest
  • styles.css — plugin styles

Upgrade Instructions

  1. Download main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css from Assets below
  2. Copy all three files to .obsidian/plugins/opencode-obsidian/ in your vault (overwrite existing)
  3. Restart Obsidian
  4. You will see a "What is New" notice on first load
