  • Hatch no longer appends ## Development Conventions to OPERATOR.md; protected branches and the hook profile stay in config.json.

Upgrade Instructions

  1. If .hermit/OPERATOR.md contains ## Development Conventions, offer a choice with no default: Remove / Keep. Defer to the operator through evolve's step 10. Explain that the section repeats config.json. Remove only that section if chosen, preserving other operator content; propose the diff for the operator to apply through the normal OPERATOR.md approval prompt.
