What changed

  • Uses @guardian/ophan-tracker-js v5.
  • Initialises the unified tracker entry point with init('ng').
  • Keeps Apps fallback tracker shape aligned with the v5 API.

Verification

  • fnm exec --using 24 pnpm tsc --pretty false
  • fnm exec --using 24 pnpm test -- --runInBand src/components/YoutubeAtom
  • Confirmed no sendInitialEvent() calls in this consumer, avoiding an immediate duplicate page-view send after init().

Please rebase this branch against main before deploying to CODE. #16321 made some changes to CI and infrastructure. Deploying this branch without these changes present will either:

  • Fail when using Riff-Raff's default update strategy
  • OR delete the new infrastructure if using Riff-Raff's "dangerous" mode
