AutoForm is a browser extension that helps developers quickly fill forms with predefined and reusable data.
Filling the same forms repeatedly during development can be tedious, especially when testing different scenarios or working with large forms. Developers often need to enter realistic values, repeat the same combinations of data, or switch between different sets of test data.
AutoForm solves this by allowing you to create presets containing reusable field configurations and automatically generate values for them.
AutoForm works by mapping form fields to CSS selectors and defining which method should be used to generate their values.
A preset can contain multiple fields, and each field can use generators such as Faker or Box4Dev, as well as custom methods created by the user.
Once a preset is selected, AutoForm uses these configurations to fill the matching fields on the current page.
Tip: Presets and custom methods are independent. Custom methods are global and can be used by any preset.
Presets — Create, manage, import, and export reusable form configurations.
Fields & Forms — Configure fields, selectors, generators, and method options.
Custom Methods — Create and manage your own reusable data-generation methods.
Settings — Configure the application, import behavior, locale, theme, and method catalogs.
