A turn that comes back with nothing now says so. A model can finish a turn having produced no answer, no tool call and no error at all — most often when the question carried a picture its provider will not take — and until now the whole turn was invisible: the spinner stopped and the transcript sat exactly as it was, as if the question had been ignored. The chat now states what happened, quotes the server's own word for the ending, and offers to ask again — without the picture, when that is what it choked on.

Quick Ask hands its question over properly. Asked at the wrong moment — while another screen was still animating — it could open the conversation and never send the words. The question now travels with the conversation it was asked in, and the sheet slides away onto a chat that is already holding it, in one movement rather than two.
