A conversation that is still working on the machine no longer looks finished. When Claude Code starts a long command or an agent in the background and hands you back the prompt, the chat used to go quiet — no spinner, no badge, nothing to say the test it kicked off was still running and that it would come back with the results. Now the server reports the work as long as it runs, and every surface wears it: the chat sits in LIVE NOW with a BACKGROUND pill and a breathing timer badge, the row's second line quotes the task in the agent's own words, the chat's own status reads the count, the orb at the top of Home breathes with one satellite for it, and a screen reader hears that the agent continues on its own when the work ends. The prompt stays open the whole time, because Claude accepts your next message while it waits. Requires the latest claude-bridge on the server; nothing changes for opencode or Oh My Pi, which have no background tasks to report.
