  2. PowerShell Optimization:

  • In the ps/doh_manager.py file, multiple calls to powershell.exe for DNS and DoH configuration have been merged into a single PowerShell script block.
  • This eliminates the startup delay (about ~0.5-1s per operation), resulting in near-instantaneous application of records.
  1. Trace Performance Logging:
  • core/dns_verifier.py has been updated to preserve not only the connectivity layer of DNS checks (google.com, cloudflare.com, etc.), but also the millisecond times (duration_ms) spent resolving them.
  • ui/main_window.py now displays the summed Apply (powershell times) and Verify times, confirming that the user is navigating to resolvers protected from time 0.
