Decision Assurance Framework v0.1.0
v0.1.0 is the first public, source-only milestone for the local-first
Decision Assurance Framework. The public product version, Python package
metadata, runtime version, and annotated Git tag are all 0.1.0.
Included milestone
- A trusted Codex subscription project session can use the repository
run-decision-assuranceSkill for ordinary-language, synthetic P0/P1
consultation. - Python validates canonical case and route records, enforces context and Tool
policy, executes registered local Tools through bounded workers, checks
quantitative-verification bindings, admits ledger claims and reports, and
produces the exact human decision handoff. - A later typed human input can finalize that exact reviewed handoff without
rerunning the analysis or performing the selected action. - A process-local Python admission contract binds the exact minimized P0/P1
Broker export, procedural task/result identities, one material registered
Tool and verifier projection or a typed no-calculation qualitative fallback,
report, and human handoff to one expiring single-use root without claiming
authenticated provider execution, transcript, model identity, or isolation. - Forty registered Tools, exactly three scripted-fake synthetic lifecycle
scenarios, generated schemas, compatibility inspection, roadmap validation,
and local privacy/publication checks are included.
Version transition
The repository used package 3.0.0 as an internal pre-public compatibility
epoch. It was not a public product release. The exact package 3.0.0,
persisted/generated 6.0.0, release-evidence 3.0.0 state remains readable as
non-authoritative historical evidence. Current public product/package 0.1.0
uses additive persisted/generated 6.2.0 and release evidence 3.2.0; exact
3.1.0 evidence remains a non-authoritative regeneration-only reader.
Historical evidence is never upgraded in place; current evidence is regenerated
after current inspection.
Installation and use
The supported source workflow is a Git clone followed by an editable install.

The tracked source-release contract governs deterministic archives, the exact
tag, required public documents, member hashes, and checksums.
Explicit limitations
This release is not PyPI publication, a wheel or sdist distribution, a hosted
service, an authenticated Python-dispatched model provider, protected durable
persistence, P2 case continuation, real B2-B5 decision-quality evidence, or
execution of the selected decision. The official user-managed standalone Codex
CLI is callable, but authenticated provider/model dispatch remains unqualified
and was not exercised. The supported language surface is a trusted Codex
subscription project session with repository Skills; optional DAF MCP requires
explicit user registration. Same-model role agreement is not independent
evidence.
The generated source archives contain source files only and do not include
.git; clone-based installation is the supported milestone path. Native POSIX
link-boundary behavior remains mechanically inspected rather than directly
executed on the reviewed Windows host.
