v0.1.0 frozen portfolio release

Final frozen release. This is the last version of this repository.

It summarises 0.1.0-alpha.1 through 0.1.0-alpha.4 (11 and 12 Oct 2026), plus the dimension-label drag work from 14 Oct 2026.

Added

• Parametric 2D sketcher: points, lines, circles, arcs, rectangles, polygons, slots, and construction geometry
• Geometric and dimensional constraints, a Levenberg-Marquardt solver, and degrees of freedom from Jacobian rank
• On-canvas dimension editing (double-click a label)
• Snaps (grid, origin, endpoints, midpoints, centers, intersections, and related inferences)
• Fillet, chamfer, and offset, plus trim, extend, and mirror
• Undo and redo through commands
• Save and load of versioned .sketch.json, autosave and recovery, and sample sketches
• DXF R12 export (geometry only; constraints stay in .sketch.json)

Fixed across alpha.2 to alpha.4

• Solver status for unsatisfied underdetermined sketches reports failed instead of inconsistent
• Mirror keeps copied constraints; move undo restores constraints; selection is pruned after trim, extend, mirror, fillet, and chamfer
• Dirty open, sample, and recent files ask before discarding work
• DXF export fails closed on non-finite geometry
• Rectangle chamfers no longer settle outside the profile
• Closed line-and-arc offset via a densified polyline (approximate)

Known limitations

• Not suitable for safety-critical engineering
• Windows NSIS installer is unsigned
• DXF is export only
• Arc offset is approximate
• Comfortable solver size is tens to low hundreds of constraints

Install

Windows NSIS setup attaches when the Tauri build finishes (unsigned — SmartScreen may warn; see PACKAGING.md).
MSI is deferred for this alpha: WiX requires a numeric-only prerelease segment.

Try without installer

npm install && npm run dev — open a sample from the File menu.

Known

Dimension presentation can look a bit odd; that can be tightened in a follow-up.
