Release list
0.6.1
- Fix adding an annotation at the cursor, and the sidebar, editor highlights, inline annotation blocks and reading-mode blocks, failing with "Only one element on document allowed". The 0.6.0 review cleanup called Obsidian's DOM helpers on
document, where they append the element to the document node instead of returning a detached one; they are now called as the global helpers. - Drop the no-op
annotationColorClass()helper. Colors already travel through the--annotation-sidebar-colorcustom property, so changing a type no longer rewrites an unchanged class list.
0.6.0
- Move the settings tab to Obsidian's declarative settings API (
getSettingDefinitions()), so every setting is indexed by Obsidian's settings search on 1.13.0 and later.minAppVersionis now 1.13.0. - Annotation types are now edited as a list: each type is an entry with its own name, color, and icon, with add and delete affordances provided by Obsidian.
- Validate the annotation file suffix and the type name inline instead of rejecting changes silently.
0.5.1
- Declare the Obsidian APIs the plugin actually relies on, and raise
minAppVersionto 1.7.2 to match (revealLeaf,FileManager.trashFile,setTooltip). - Keep the sidebar leaf in place when the plugin unloads, so Obsidian remembers a user-moved sidebar position.
- Use
FileManager.trashFile()instead ofVault.delete()when removing an emptied annotation file, so the user's trash preference is respected. - Build DOM elements with Obsidian's
createEl/createDiv/createSpanhelpers instead ofdocument.createElement. - Use a settings heading via
Setting.setHeading()and drop the deprecatedsetDynamicTooltip()call. - Rename the open-sidebar command ID to
open-sidebar; Obsidian already namespaces command IDs with the plugin ID. - List
@codemirror/stateand@codemirror/viewas dependencies, as they are runtime imports.
0.5.0
- Add a Lucide icon picker for annotation types in settings.
- Rename, recolor, add, and delete annotation types; reassign annotations when a type is deleted.
- Add an English README and keep the Chinese version as
README.zh.md.
0.4.0
- Add yellow, red, blue, and green colors for every annotation.
- Apply annotation colors to sidebar cards, editor highlights and markers, and read-only inline blocks.
- Keep color changes local to the active sidebar entry to avoid sidebar flashing.
