CTRNativePorted v0.2.2 — Pit Stop, Wumpa Challenges and PlayStation controllers
What's new since v0.2.1
- Pit Stop and Wumpa Challenges open online. The project server (built into the launcher, and
the standalonectr_online_server.exe) now answers the requests the v01.21 game sends for them:
service entitlements (empty), shop inventory and Wumpa Coin balances, challenge events and
challenge states. Pit Stop shows the Daily Deals; Wumpa Challenges shows the Daily, Weekly and Pro
lists. Buying items and earning coins from races are not implemented yet: the balance starts at 0. - Test coin balances.
ctr_online_server.exe --set-balance <online ID> 10 <amount>sets an
account's Wumpa Coins (currency 10) for testing; a running server picks the change up at the
game's next login. Amount 0 removes the balance. - PlayStation controllers. DualShock 4 (original or compatible) and DualSense now work directly, over USB or
Bluetooth, without DS4Windows or Steam Input (read through SDL's HID drivers), with vibration.
Share and the touch pad click act as the touch pad button; the quick exit is Share + Options.
Motion sensors and touch position are not passed to the game. - Controller fix. Every connected XInput controller now drives player 1. Before, only the first
XInput slot was read, so a controller on another slot did nothing — for example a Steam Controller
emulated as an Xbox 360 pad when a second virtual pad takes slot 0. - Groundwork for the US version (CUSA13795). The runtime now takes its version-specific addresses
from one table per eboot, with entries for US v01.00 and v01.21. They were derived from a US dump by
comparing bytes but have not been run yet: the US version is not supported in this release.
Everything else is the same as v0.2.1. Feedback is very welcome: open an issue with your logs
(runtime/user/logs), including "it works" reports.
