1.1.1

@gwmage gwmage released this 24 Jul 03:57

Manifest description fix for community review (removed the word "Obsidian"); removed unused builtin-modules devDependency. No functional change.

1.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@gwmage gwmage released this 23 Jul 14:21

Setup used to dead-end for anyone who did not already have a Rootr account: the settings screen asked for an API key and a workspace ID with no link to get either.

  • New Create one free button at the top of settings, linking to the setup page.
  • New Check connection button — validates your key and workspace ID and reports the workspace name, so a failed push is no longer the first sign something is wrong.
  • Rootr base URL moved to an Advanced section at the bottom; it has a working default.
  • README now leads with what the plugin does.

No change to what is synced or to the privacy scope.

1.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@gwmage gwmage released this 21 Jul 08:23

First release.

One-way sync: push a chosen vault folder (or tagged notes) into a Rootr team workspace, so teammates and Claude/ChatGPT can read and write them.

  • Vault stays the source of truth — nothing is written back into your vault
  • Only the folder/tag you configure is read; nothing else is scanned
  • No telemetry, no background transfer, no polling
  • Conflict-safe: a note changed in Rootr since the last push is never silently overwritten
