- Opening Observio on the last channel: the remote works in the player straight away again (the green key opens the Guide, OK, the arrows, Info and Menu respond).

Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta53

- The picture behind the Guide now keeps the TV awake, like full screen, so it no longer falls asleep while you watch with the Guide open.
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta52
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta52
New in beta52
- Ask If Still Watching (TV Settings › Playback, off unless you turn it on): after 2 to 6 hours without a button press, Observio asks, and stops so the TV can sleep if nobody answers.
- Channel previews in lists no longer keep the TV awake: only the full-screen picture does.
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta51
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta51
New in beta51
- The TV no longer goes to sleep or starts its screensaver while something is playing. Paused or stopped, it sleeps as usual.
- Sleep timer: Turn Off the TV switches the box off when the timer ends, and the TV with it where they're linked (HDMI-CEC). The box asks for permission once.

Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta50

- Back from a channel lands on that channel in Live TV, and the player names the group it plays from.
- More versions of one channel are combined: names with VIP or a brand in front, when the provider gives them the same guide.
- Picture & Sound: changing a setting keeps your place in the list.
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta49
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta49
New in beta49
- Observio stays usable while a large channel list or guide is loading: the remote no longer stops responding and the app is no longer closed.
- Remote guide in the side menu: what each button does, on a drawing of the remote you hold.
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta48
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta48
New in beta48
- While watching, hold ↑ for History: the channels you watched last, with their logos, what's on and when you watched them. On a channel with catch-up, hold OK to replay what you were watching.
- Back from a channel opens Live TV on its group, with the channel in the preview. Hold Back for your Favorites.
- The programme card in the channel panel no longer covers the days.
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta47
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta47
New in beta47
- Changing channels quickly tunes once, where you stop, instead of opening a stream per press, so one-connection subscriptions no longer get blocked.
- Level Volume (Settings › Picture & Sound, off by default) evens out quiet and loud channels.
- Live TV opens instantly with the list you saw last, and never on an empty group.
- On some TV boxes Live TV and Search had a black background; they now show Observio's own.
- With the controls up, ↑ selects the progress bar: ← → rewind and forward in the live buffer, OK pauses and plays.
- Sleep timer: 10 minutes to 4 hours or the end of the programme. When it ends, the box goes to its screensaver so it can sleep.
- Clearer TV screens: wider logos, easier-to-read channel numbers, the schedule always beside the channel list, the guide opens at the current time and every player button is labelled.
- Times are 24-hour by default; choose AM/PM in Settings › General › Time Format.
- Local re-streams and Script feeds combine with their channel, and country tags are hidden in more groups.
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta46
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta46
New in beta46
- On TV boxes whose decoder can't start a channel, the compatibility engine now takes over within about 4 seconds.
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta45
Observio for Android 1.0.0-beta45
New in beta45
- 1080i channels that played in slow motion on some TV boxes now use the box's own decoder and play smoothly.
- When the compatibility engine decodes on the box's processor, the picture now keeps up with the sound instead of slowing down.
- TV boxes always use their own deinterlacing; the Observio (GPU) option, which stuttered on boxes, is gone.
