This is the initial public Beta release of the Waypoint driver.

Waypoint is a stealth-focused, ring-0 KMDF virtual mouse driver featuring a zero-latency, lockless shared-memory ring buffer for IPC. This architecture completely bypasses standard IOCTL dispatching, allowing undetectable hardware-level input simulation with 0% idle CPU usage.

Features in this Release:

  • Zero-latency IPC: Covert shared-memory ring buffer implementation using atomic operations.
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Fully eliminates CPU polling loops for 0% idle system impact.
  • Stealth Mechanics: Dynamic USB hardware spoofing (randomized VID/PID on boot).
  • Realistic Entropy: Custom LCG timing generator for micro-jitter and hardware cycle skipping.
  • Waypoint.sys: Full KMDF + VHF virtual mouse implementation.
  • WaypointCtl.exe: User-mode command application.

Warning

You must install the included certificate (cert\Install-Certificate.cmd) and enable Windows Test Signing Mode before the driver can successfully load. See the README for full installation instructions.
