Stickies 2.0.7

  • Administrators now get a short note in the @ mention list when someone matches the name but cannot be mentioned because their role cannot see notes yet, with a link to Stickies > Settings. Other users see no change and no account details.
  • Fixed a rare case where pressing Enter after a search found no one could pick the person from the previous search.
  • Removed unused code and two unused text strings ("Saving..." and "Only the author can change this note.").

Stickies 2.0.6

  • Moving, resizing or recoloring a saved note now saves as soon as you let go. Before, the change was lost if you left the page without clicking the check button.
  • A move or color change made just before you leave the page is still saved.
  • Text still waits for the check button (or Ctrl+S / Cmd+S) unless autosave is on, so half-typed notes are never saved by accident.
  • The autosave setting now covers text only.

Stickies 2.0.5

  • Mention emails show the author and page name in bold again, and the footer uses one translatable string.
  • A save that loses a race to another edit returns the latest note with a Reload button; a real database error says so plainly.
  • Bulk resolve and reopen use the revision they already loaded.
  • Bulk and row actions in the Stickies list keep your search, filter, sort and page.
  • The Stickies toolbar no longer loads inside the View details window.
  • Documentation corrections.

Stickies 2.0.4

@tvcnet tvcnet released this 24 Oct 18:15

Stickies 2.0.4 fixes a permissions mismatch that could hide the editor toolbar and omit editors from mention suggestions even while Settings showed their access enabled.

  • Reconcile Stickies role capabilities with the saved permission matrix on each request, writing only when capabilities differ. Preserve individual user restrictions.
  • Distinguish duplicate names in mention suggestions. Administrators with permission to list users can identify and search eligible accounts by email; other users see account IDs without email addresses.
  • Update both readmes, FAQ, developer documentation, and regression checks.

No schema change: existing notes and settings remain in schema 4.

Validation: 61 real-WordPress integration checks on Zendogs WordPress 7.1.3; Ego Lite admin/editor login switching, duplicate-name selection, missing-toolbar reproduction and repaired front-end/dashboard controls; standalone suites, shared PHPCS, JavaScript syntax, PHP lint, and ZIP verification. Temporary test accounts were removed. The reported production site's role data was not inspected directly.

Stickies 2.0.3

@tvcnet tvcnet released this 24 Oct 02:10

Stickies 2.0.3 updates the native View details banner with the walkthrough thumbnail, retains the THRG gradient and animated heart, and adds a clickable video preview using a bundled image. The header adapts to phone widths.

Declares tested compatibility with WordPress 7.1.3 consistently in the readme and View details.

Validated on Zendogs WordPress 7.1.3: 52 integration assertions, 31 final smoke checks, shared PHPCS, and desktop/390px Ego Lite banner inspection. No compatibility warning or mobile horizontal overflow observed.

Stickies 2.0.2

@tvcnet tvcnet released this 24 Oct 02:00

Stickies 2.0.2 clarifies mention email behavior and completes the bundled help content.

  • Explain why self-mentions do not send email, what No recorded send means, and how to test notifications.
  • Add the Stickies walkthrough video to the README and View details description.
  • Include the Support tab in View details.
  • Remove the repeated delivery disclaimer beneath email results in the notes list.

No database migration beyond schema 4 and no changes to notification or permission rules.

Validated with shared PHPCS, PHP lint, standalone tests, JavaScript syntax, package checks, and the Zendogs integration suite. FAQ, Support, video link, companion tab, and branding reviewed in Ego Lite.

Stickies 2.0.1

Choose a tag to compare

@tvcnet tvcnet released this 24 Oct 01:50

Stickies 2.0.1 adds mention email results to the notes list and includes the save reliability improvements developed for 2.0.0.

  • Report the latest mailer acceptance or send failure per mentioned recipient, with UTC timestamps. Historical emails show No recorded send. Mailer acceptance does not confirm inbox delivery.
  • Preserve text entered during a pending manual save.
  • Prevent stale edits with atomic note revisions.
  • Translate mention email text and clarify external avatar requests.

The database upgrades automatically to schema 4, preserving existing notes.

Validation: shared PHPCS, PHP lint, standalone tests, JavaScript syntax, package checks, and 52 Zendogs WordPress integration assertions. Ego Lite verified the primary note workflows, autosave, settings, mobile panel, and stale-edit rejection. Full accessibility, multisite, external inbox delivery, and every pointer/bulk UI flow remain unverified.
