This release comes with several bug fixes as well as some refactors and cool new features. It also includes security improvements!

What's Changed

  • The messenger has been improved and now supports file uploads with this version of DCTS. The upload system was completely refactored!
  • Docker has been adjusted for all new changes
  • Documentation has been updated
  • The plugin system was reworked and extended! There is now a "Plugins" list in the server settings where you can browser available and local plugins and manage them, like installing or uninstalling them and managing plugin settings.
  • Our new distribution system has been integrated into DCTS!
  • More default emojis have been added to the emoji picker
  • Its now possible to ban public keys. This is mostly used by the system.
  • Some internal code has been refactored with our new distribution system, making development A LOT more efficient
  • Server channel room IDs have been completely changed. It will migrate automatically. MAKE A BACKUP
  • The readme has been made a lil nicer
  • The auto-complete system for mentions etc has been refactored a bit, you can mention channels with # now and use enter to select them, not only tab anymore-
  • GIFs are working again! I've updated our gif solution and integrated it into DCTS (finally!). You can upload GIFs there as well without needing an account! (uploads are reviewed before being published)
