v1.24.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 06 Oct 10:18
  • New: gift cards. Tick "Gift card" on a simple or variable product and every unit sold becomes its own gift card code, worth the price paid. Codes are issued when the order is paid and emailed by Storedash to the recipient (or the buyer), on a chosen date if one was picked. Gift cards never expire.
  • Shoppers can add a recipient email, name, message and send date on the product page, and redeem codes at checkout (classic checkout, Cart/Checkout blocks and headless storefronts). A card pays as much of the order as it can, including shipping; whatever is left stays on the card.
  • Gift card products are not taxed at sale (VAT is charged when the card is used), are always virtual, and cannot be discounted with coupons, Storedash discounts or rewards credit. Gift cards cannot be used to buy gift cards.
  • Cancelled or failed orders give the card money back, refunds return the card part to the card, and refunding a gift card purchase takes the value off its cards.
  • Storedash can list gift cards, issue them by hand, adjust balances, disable or re-enable cards and resend the email.
  • Change: rewards credit is never earned on shipping or fees. The "Order total" earn basis is gone; stores that used it now earn on the subtotal incl. VAT.
  • Fix: rewards credit now takes exactly the credit amount off the order. Before, in stores with tax enabled, WooCommerce also took the VAT on that amount off, so the order total and VAT were lower than they should be. VAT is now always charged on the full order value.
  • Fix: when rewards credit is set to cover shipping, it now includes shipping from the first time the cart is shown.

v1.23.2

@github-actions github-actions released this 05 Oct 13:16
  • Headless storefront checkouts no longer create a second copy of the cart when a customer cancels or retries payment, so they get one abandoned-cart reminder instead of two (and none after paying on a retry).

v1.23.1

@github-actions github-actions released this 02 Oct 16:13
  • Headless storefront checkouts no longer leave a duplicate copy of the ordered cart behind, so customers who complete their order are not later treated as having abandoned a cart.

v1.23.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 02 Oct 14:37
  • Headless storefronts can now restore abandoned carts from a recovery link, including any saved coupons.
  • Abandoned-cart tracking now works on headless storefront checkouts, and a new cart is tracked correctly after an order is placed.
  • Storedash can now reorder products in your shop without re-saving them, the same way WooCommerce's own sorting screen does.
  • The back-in-stock widget now safely escapes its text in the Elementor editor preview.
  • Chat add-to-cart now uses the option the shopper picked in the chat (for example a size or mount) when a variation allows "any" value, instead of failing when that attribute has several values and no default.

v1.22.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Oct 12:23
  • Headless storefronts can now show quantity discounts to shoppers. The product data includes the quantity offer a product belongs to (its tiers, whether products mix and match, and the shop's own short texts), and the cart says how many qualifying items it holds, which tier it has reached and what the next tier is.
  • Discounted cart lines now report which tier they got, so the storefront can label them (for example "−15%").

v1.21.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Oct 11:17
  • Quantity discounts can now target whole categories, tags and brands, not only hand-picked products. A product qualifies when it is a listed product or sits in a listed category (or one of its subcategories), tag or brand.
  • Quantity discounts can now be set to "mix and match": every qualifying product in the cart counts together toward the tier, so one each of three different products reaches the "buy 3" tier. Discounts not set to mix and match keep counting each product on its own, as before.

v1.20.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 24 Sep 17:08
  • Variation photo galleries now show in Storedash. WooCommerce returns a variation's extra gallery photos as attachment IDs only, so the plugin adds a gallery_images list (id, address, name, alt text and a small thumbnail) next to gallery_image_ids on variation REST responses and webhooks. Nothing WooCommerce returns is changed.

v1.19.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 22 Sep 10:56
  • The plugin now updates itself from the WordPress Plugins screen. When a new release is published, every site running the plugin shows "Update available" within about 12 hours (or immediately after Dashboard → Updates → "Check again") and installs it with the standard one-click "Update now" link; the WordPress auto-update toggle also works. Updates are fetched from the public release feed at github.com/hafsteinnvidar/storedash-wp-helper, and each downloaded package is checked against the SHA-256 published with the release before it is installed. Sites on 1.18.0 or earlier need one last manual upload to receive this.
