Sender display names on outbound email, and a 25MB attachment cap.

sdk-v0.14.0 (PyPI: hail-sdk==0.14.0), cli-v0.19.0 (Homebrew + GitHub Releases).

Email

  • POST /emails accepts an optional from_name — a display name rendered
    on the From: header ("Acme Billing" <billing@acme.com>, RFC-2047-encoded
    for non-ASCII). Exposed on the SDK (from_name=), MCP send_email
    (from_name), and CLI (--from-name); persisted and returned on email
    reads. Control characters are rejected (422).
  • The per-send attachment cap (body + all attachments, pre-encoding) rose
    from 10MB to 25MB — SESv2 allows 40MB post-base64, and 25MB raw ≈ 34MB
    encoded leaves headroom. Same cap applies to POST /email-attachments
    single-file uploads.
