hail CLI v0.20.0
Sender display names on outbound email, and a 25MB attachment cap.
Component versions cut alongside this release:
sdk-v0.14.0 (PyPI: hail-sdk==0.14.0), cli-v0.19.0 (Homebrew + GitHub Releases).
POST /emailsaccepts an optionalfrom_name— a display name rendered
on theFrom:header ("Acme Billing" <billing@acme.com>, RFC-2047-encoded
for non-ASCII). Exposed on the SDK (from_name=), MCPsend_email
(from_name), and CLI (--from-name); persisted and returned on email
reads. Control characters are rejected (422).- The per-send attachment cap (body + all attachments, pre-encoding) rose
from 10MB to 25MB — SESv2 allows 40MB post-base64, and 25MB raw ≈ 34MB
encoded leaves headroom. Same cap applies toPOST /email-attachments
single-file uploads.
