An advanced and versatile marine instrumentation package to display Signal K data.

New

Optional automatic toolbar reveal. The toolbar slides down on its own at startup and on every page change, using its page icons to show you where you are. On a display you only watch — one at the helm you step through with a remote, say — that becomes four seconds of chrome per screen with nothing to do about it. Settings → Display → Toolbar → "Show the toolbar automatically" turns it off, and the toolbar then appears only when you ask for it: swipe down from the top, scroll up, or tap the strip that peeks at the top edge. On by default, so nothing changes unless you want it to. The setting is stored with your configuration profile, so it applies to every display using that profile. (#495)

Fixed

Display settings are no longer discarded when Automatic Night Mode cannot be enabled. With that feature switched on, every save from Settings → Display was routed through a check against the Signal K Derived Data plugin — and when the check failed, the whole save was abandoned. Theme, browser tab title, brightness, keep-awake and the rest were silently lost, while the error message mentioned only night mode. Everything unrelated to the plugin now saves as asked; only automatic night mode is held back, and the toggle keeps showing what is actually stored. (#498)

Installation

Published to npm as @halos-org/skip. On a Signal K server it is available from the Signal K app store, or install directly:
