MorseLAB – BEACON

Opis działania

Moduł BEACON w urządzeniu MorseLAB umożliwia stworzenie radiolatarni (beacona) po podłączeniu urządzenia do transceivera.

Urządzenie automatycznie nadaje zdefiniowany komunikat w określonych odstępach czasu, co pozwala na:

  • testowanie propagacji,
  • sprawdzanie zasięgu,
  • identyfikację stacji.

Konfiguracja

Konfiguracja znajduje się w pliku:

/configs/beacon.txt

Plik składa się z 4 linii:

Znaczenie parametrów

  1. 22 – prędkość nadawania znaków (WPM – Words Per Minute)

  2. 14 – prędkość efektywna (Farnsworth) (FWPM – z wydłużonymi odstępami między znakami)

  3. 10 – interwał nadawania (co ile sekund powtarzany jest komunikat)

  4. CQ CQ CQ CALL8SIGN TEST – treść nadawanego komunikatu

Prosigny

Moduł BEACON obsługuje prosigny, takie jak: <AR> <SK> <KN> <AS> <BK>

Można je używać bezpośrednio w treści komunikatu.

Wskazówki

  • Upewnij się, że MorseLAB jest poprawnie podłączony do transceivera
  • Dostosuj prędkości WPM/FWPM do swoich potrzeb
  • Ustaw odpowiedni interwał, aby nie przeciążać pasma

Description

The BEACON module in MorseLAB allows you to create a radio beacon when connected to a transceiver.

The device automatically transmits a predefined message at fixed intervals, which can be used for:

  • propagation testing,
  • range checking,
  • station identification.

Configuration

Configuration is stored in:

/configs/beacon.txt

The file contains 4 lines:

  1. 22 – character speed (WPM – Words Per Minute)

  2. 14 – effective speed (Farnsworth spacing) (FWPM – extended spacing between characters)

  3. 10 – transmission interval (seconds between message repetitions)

  4. CQ CQ CQ CALL8SIGN TEST – transmitted message

Prosigns

The BEACON module supports prosigns, such as: <AR> <SK> <KN> <AS> <BK>

They can be used directly in the message.

Tips

  • Ensure MorseLAB is properly connected to your transceiver
  • Adjust WPM/FWPM to your needs
  • Set a reasonable interval to avoid excessive transmissions
