Starting with mc-vr-api version 3.0.1, you can now test VR development without entering VR. To use dev mode, simply launch your mod with mc-vr-api as a dependency from a dev environment!
- Press the Down Arrow Key to set the position of the HMD to 2 blocks in front of you, facing the nearest cardinal direction to where you're looking!
- Press the Left Arrow Key to set the position of the left controller (controller 1) to 2 blocks in front of you, facing the nearest cardinal direction to where you're looking!
- Press the Right Arrow Key to set the position of the right controller (controller 0) to 2 blocks in front of you, facing the nearest cardinal direction to where you're looking!
- Press the Up Arrow Key to toggle the pretending to be in VR.
- White, red, and blue particles are shown for the HMD, and the left and right controllers respectively, with black particles indicating the direction they're facing.
- The positions and rotations of the eyes are the same as the HMD.
- Until their positions and rotations are set by pressing one of the arrow keys above, the positions of the HMD and both controllers are set at (0, 0, 0) with a look vector of (0, 0, 0).
- The rotation matrix is set to all 0s, and the roll for the rotation matrix is 0.
- Out of all of the API functions that retrieve an
IVRPlayerinstance, onlygetVRPlayer()uses the faked data.
