Finish a video and HTCUT reviews how it went, suggests fixes and lets you send them to us. A new polish sweep catches the one-frame problems that slip past a watch-through.
- Project Done (File ▸ Project Done… or
htcut retro): when a video is finished, your Claude reads what HTCUT recorded and the Claude Code sessions that worked on it, and suggests fixes for HTCUT, its Claude skill and your own setup. Tick the ones you want and Send them to the HTCUT team — text only, anonymous unless you add an email, and you see exactly what's sent first. - Polish sweep (
htcut polish, also in the Pre-publish Checklist): a cut-out over nothing, broken cut-out frames, looking away at a clip's edge, and hidden leftover clips. Every export and review copy is also scanned for one-frame flashes and stretches where nothing moves. - Ripple edits keep a looping background plate playing under a cut-out speaker when you insert or lengthen, instead of leaving frames of black.
- Animated graphics at 4K: a frame that fails to render is retried on a fresh page rather than failing the export.
- Release notes in the update window now show their formatting and links.
- Claude skill: tips from real projects — gradients instead of large CSS blurs, fitting giant words to the frame, a −1.5 dBTP limit for YouTube, and Project Done when a video ships.
- Fixes: speech-edge checks on long recordings measured the wrong moment (audio drifted 0.7 s over 17 minutes).
