OrcMaps map catalog
OrcMaps global map catalog
Production download catalog with no expiry. It contains one worldwide regional-detail pack (zoom 08, 543,380,195 bytes). Compatible OrcSDR firmware verifies the signed catalog and complete archive before installation.
Catalog expiry is explicitly null. This does not expire installed offline maps. Older firmware without null-expiry support rejects this catalog; use an OrcSDR release explicitly configured for the production catalog/public key.
Future updates use increasing signed catalog revisions. Archive bytes remain at immutable SHA-256 URLs. This map-data release is separate from an OrcSDR firmware release.
World regional map — zoom 0–8
Worldwide regional-detail map for OrcSDR
Global coverage, zoom 0–8. Archive size: 543,380,195 bytes. Regional detail includes supported cities, boundaries, major roads and water; street-level coverage is not promised.
Use Offline Maps → Get Maps in an OrcSDR build configured for the production OrcMaps catalog. The signed catalog has no expiry.
Manual SD installation: download global-regional-z0-z8.pmtiles and global-regional.production.manifest.json. Rename the latter to global-regional-z0-z8.manifest.json, put the pair in /orcmaps/ on the SD card, then Rescan in Local Maps. Keep the required attribution. The earlier candidate manifest is retained for historical pilot compatibility.

Source: Protomaps / OpenStreetMap contributors / Natural Earth. Archive content and URL are unchanged from the verified pilot; this promotion changes release metadata and provides the production manifest.
TEST ONLY: signed map catalog pilot 2026-10-22
TEST-ONLY signed catalog for the approved COM17 global-map download pilot.
Not a production trust key or firmware release. The catalog signature uses a newly generated TEST-ONLY P-256 key. The public key is attached; private signing material is not published. Only deliberately configured test firmware should trust it.
The data candidate is not yet accepted for worldwide native visual quality or installation/recovery behavior. Catalog dates and revision are in maps-catalog-v1.json. Do not reset device trust to bypass rollback protection. Preserve the accepted test revision for later production migration.
