CodeMerge 1.2.0

@harelyaish harelyaish released this 25 Sep 11:49

What's new in 1.2.0

  • New β€” the notch. On Macs with a notch, CodeMerge turns it into a live panel:
    • A mascot that reacts to what you're doing, and a chat that takes plain commands ("skip", "timer 25m", "find my resume").
    • Your music with lyrics, timers, today's calendar, clipboard, file shelf and voice notes, in up to 8 tabs.
    • Up to 5 widgets of your favourite tools; music, timers and meetings stay visible beside the camera.
    • Any tool opens right inside the notch.
  • New tools:
    • Presenter tools: draw on screen, show clicks and shortcuts.
    • Speed test, package tracking, Measure (ruler and magnifier), and one-click scrolling screenshots.
    • Sunrise, sunset and golden hour, water and stretch reminders, and lyrics in the music tab.
  • Typing sounds recorded from 9 real keyboards.
  • Settings, redesigned: a search that finds any setting, and a Widgets editor.
  • The mascot peeks around the main window and Settings, and hides when your cursor gets near.
  • Smaller: a 6 MB download; the app takes 13 MB installed, down from 37 MB.

What's new in 1.1.3

  • Workflows: combine tools into one command β€” hide desktop icons, keep the Mac awake, switch audio output, start a timer, open or quit apps, open URLs, arrange windows, eject disks, lock the screen, run a shell command or AppleScript, or wait. Build them in Settings β†’ Workflows (with Presentation mode, End work, Dev mode and Focus session templates) and run them from the dropdown with live step progress. A failing step never stops the rest.
  • Screenshot annotations: after a capture, tap Annotate on the toast (or turn on Settings β†’ Screenshots β†’ open the editor automatically). Draw arrows, lines, rectangles, ellipses, a highlighter, freehand pen, numbered steps, blur and text; then Select to move, resize, restyle, duplicate or delete anything. Copy or save straight from the editor.
  • World clocks: a new Clocks tab in the Converter β€” live times for up to 5 cities you find with free-text search (city or country), day/night and offset from your time, and a slider that shifts every clock together to plan a meeting.

What's new in 1.1.2

  • Timer, redesigned: a big time with βˆ’ / + and presets, plus a Custom option to type any minutes and seconds. Running timers are compact cards with pause/resume, a quick-add button (+10s for timers under a minute, +1m otherwise), and "start again" when one finishes. The new-timer box folds away while timers run, and there's a limit of 3 timers at once.
  • Converter, redesigned: From and To cards with big numbers, unit menus, a swap button, and tap-the-result-to-copy. Results drop trailing zeros and keep precision for small values.
  • Window layouts: the layout preview now uses a glass-tile look, with a tidy picker of 12 layouts β€” equal ones (Full, Halves, Thirds, Quarters, Sixths, Eighths) and new mixed-size ones (Main + Side, Side + Main, Focus, Center, Top + Two, Big + Three). Thirds joins the one-tap split cycle.
  • Fixes: Electron/Chromium apps such as Spotify are now found by the layout preview and the split button; fixed a crash when switching to a layout with fewer cells.

What's new in 1.1.1

  • Themes: separate Light and Dark groups (6 each: Default, Midnight, Forest, Sunset, Monochrome, Mirror). Pick one of each and switch with the new sun/moon button next to hide-desktop-icons. Frosted-glass panels, and sliders, bars and icons now follow the theme.
  • Now Playing: live progress bar that moves in real time (Music and Spotify); Shuffle All, Favorites, Playlists, Genres and Open Music in the playing menu.
  • Spotify: fixed the layout jumping while playing; Resume now tells you honestly when there is nothing to resume; removed launcher actions Spotify can't run from a script.
