Added
- Searchable model picker. The provider tabs and sub-model chips are
replaced by a single combobox: one trigger showing the current model, and a
popover with a search box, provider-grouped results, and full keyboard
navigation (arrows, Enter, Escape). Recently picked models are listed first,
and superseded versions are folded behind a "show older versions" toggle —
a search still reaches them, so typing a retired tier's name never comes back
empty. The component keeps its previous props, so every call site is
unchanged. - Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.
claude:opusnow runsclaude-opus-5-5
andclaude:sonnetrunsclaude-sonnet-5. Each previous version moves down
to its-legacytier (Opus 5, Sonnet 4.6) so it stays selectable, matching
the Fable and Opus rollovers. Existing databases are migrated in place, and
CLI model discovery derives a-legacytier for Sonnet as well. - Codex GPT-6 tiers. GPT 6 Astra, Sol, and Luna are added above the GPT 5.6
variants. Like the 5.6 tiers they are Codex product tiers rather than public
API SKUs, so they carry no token price. GPT 5.5, 5.4, and 5.4 Mini remain
selectable as older versions. - Gemini 3.8 Flash on Antigravity. Gemini 3.8 Flash is now the default
Antigravity model, mapped to thegemini-3.8-flash-highCLI slug. Gemini 3.6
and 3.5 Flash are kept as older versions.
Changed
- Models carry a
legacyflag. A newlegacycolumn marks a superseded
version of a tier, which is what lets the picker fold older generations away
instead of listing every one. The flag is set by the seed, by the built-in
model sync, and by CLI/API discovery. - Starter crew and routing defaults use GPT 6 Sol. Forge (Senior Developer)
and Rocket (DevOps Engineer) seed withcodex:gpt-6-sol, as does the
code-generation routing rule. This affects new installs only — existing
agents are left alone, becausecodex:gpt-5.6-solis still a valid choice
and rewriting it would clobber a deliberate pick.
Fixed
- Model discovery wrote a fractional sort order. Discovery assigned legacy
tiersbaseOrder + 0.1into an INTEGER column, so several models in a
provider could collapse onto the same slot and render in an arbitrary order.
Discovery now uses whole-number slots, and the picker breaks any remaining
ties deterministically (current tiers before superseded ones, then by label),
which also repairs lists left tangled by an earlier scan. - Escape closed the whole drawer. Drawers and modals close on a
window-level Escape, so dismissing the model list also tore down the
surrounding form and lost its contents. The picker now stops the keys it
handles from reaching its host.
