Hardware "required"?

Hello! I am barely started with this. Still in mod 1. I see the hardware page with the suggested devices. Do the modules reach a point where there is an expectation that we have one of the hardware kits, or can 1-20 be completed with just a PC and no other hardware? Also, a completely different question: Have any of you ever mentioned Tony Torch on your resume, CV, or at a job interview? Or have you been the interviewer and had an applicant that talked about Tiny Torch?

The hardware is required in case you're working with the TinyML stuff, in case your work revolves around TinyTorch, Labs or StaffML, you don't need the hardware components.

I've mentioned it on my social media wherever I showcase my OSS contributions, in my resume under the OSS section, my CS249r's work is mentioned. (assuming I'm still in college and need these sections in my resume).
