Release Notes
Added
- Disable built-in tools via config (
disabled_tools) — add disabled_tools = bash, ls (comma-separated runtime names) to ~/.synaps-cli/config to remove specific built-in tools from the registry at boot, so they're never offered to the model. Useful for locking down what an agent can do (e.g. a read-only or no-shell profile). Mirrors the existing disabled_plugins / disabled_skills options; unknown names are ignored.
Changed
- TLS now trusts both bundled and system CA roots — 0.3.8 switched to bundled Mozilla roots (webpki) so HTTPS works on minimal systems, but that dropped pickup of custom/corporate CAs installed only in the OS trust store. HTTPS now trusts the union: the compiled-in Mozilla bundle and the system trust store. Bare containers still work (bundled roots), and enterprise/proxy/custom CAs are honored again (system roots). Both root sources are loaded explicitly on every HTTP client, so the behavior doesn't depend on dependency defaults. Verified: still completes TLS in a bare Alpine container with no system CAs, and trusts a custom CA present only in the system store.
Fixed
- Scroll restored after the casino (
/gamba) — returning from the GamblersDen mini-game left the terminal with mouse capture and bracketed paste disabled, so the scroll wheel (and paste) stopped working in the TUI. The terminal handoff now re-enables both on the way back, matching the initial setup.
