Release Notes
Added
- Kimi Code OAuth provider (device flow). New OAuth device-flow login for
Moonshot Kimi Code, complementing the static-key kimi provider shipped in
0.7.0. Run synaps login --provider kimi-code, complete the device
authorization in your browser, and Synaps routes through the managed Kimi
Code runtime with broker-owned token refresh. Access tokens never leave the
broker; the model runtime only sees ephemeral session material.
- InferX static-key provider. New
inferx provider pinned to
https://model.inferx.net/endpoints/v1, discovering the API key from
INFERX_API_KEY or synaps login --provider inferx. Default model is
deepseek-v4-flash; other InferX-published model IDs are usable as
inferx/<model-id> and surface through the standard OpenAI-compatible
/models catalog fetch.
- Themed conversation canvas. Every built-in palette now specifies a
distinct message_bg for the transcript area, giving code blocks and user
cards a real elevation instead of blending into the chrome. The new
background setting toggles the canvas between the themed color
(opaque) and the terminal-transparent behaviour of 0.7.0
(invisible), scoped strictly to the conversation area — header, input,
footer, and modal chrome are unaffected either way.
Fixed
- Background toggle no longer bleeds into chrome. An earlier iteration
routed the toggle through every surface, dimming the header/footer when
set to invisible. The toggle now owns exactly one surface: the conversation
canvas.
Changed
- quinn-proto bumped to 0.11.15 (transitive; picked up via
cargo check
during release prep). No API impact.
