  • runtime: Read the runtime snapshot through one store connection (c42bae7)
  • hooks: Avoid Grok startup delays and report Gauntlet tail latency (#3487)
    • Let standalone hook clients use Python 3.9 so macOS hooks can avoid launching the frozen core for every event.
    • Limit Grok observe-only daemon calls to one second in both standalone and frozen bridges, and return an empty response when those observations cannot complete.
    • Migrate existing frozen Grok launchers to the lightweight client during updates and replace stale generated scripts.
