Support by default is provided for the last 3 major PVP versions of the compiler.
Currently, Linux & macOS are tested for support.
We also promise to solve situations in hnix{,-store-{core,remote}} in Nixpkgs haskellPackages infrastructure, to make it all work from Nixpkgs.
At least until the project restructuring (API clean-up & multipackage split is made) - HNix supports the API known to be used downstream, but the 80% of the API exposed & what seems to be not at active use - is under restructuring.
But we try to preserve some backward compatibility for important stuff.
Currently important & used stuff that went under deprecation - would be there for 2 years.
In the future, I want to be able to provide this 2 year grace period to everything.
