Missing a check option

For testing purpose I miss a --check option which should only checks the Haddock documentation, i.e. the documentation shouldn't be generated.

Hmm, I suppose this seems reasonable but why not just generate the documentation?

Performance. Right now, we cannot use Travis for testing the Haddock documentation for Agda using GHC 8.0.1 due to performance issues. Searching by 'Agda' on the open issues you can find #295 and #484.

I was thinking that a --check option could have better performance.

I see; hmm. How much checking should a --check option do? I'm not really sure there is an easy way to implement what you ask since renaming and typechecking are rather expensive and occur rather early in Haddock's pipeline. I may be wrong though.

The option should report the parse error on input errors.
