Second public beta of Switchboard: one Claude Code plugin, eight features you switch on or off from /switchboard.

  • Inbox: Slack, Gmail, Calendar, GitHub and Jira in one list behind a bell; three drafted replies, sent with a 5 s Undo; meeting cards.
  • Auto rules: made from the chat, Ask first by default, never sends without a saved rule and a named person.
  • Blast Radius, Files, Replay, Agents, Reflect, Cache Tax.

Install

Needs Claude Code 2.1.295+, Python 3.10+, and "CLAUDE_CODE_ENABLE_FUNCTION_HOOKS": "1" under env in ~/.claude/settings.json.

What's fixed in beta.2

  • Gmail, Slack and Jira showed red errors. Claude Code blocked the plugin's reads. Now the source says Needs your OK, and Allow asks Claude to add only the read-only tools.
  • A blocked send said "may have gone out". Nothing had been sent. Now it says not sent, and you can retry.
  • Fix buttons all did the same thing. Each one now checks its own source again.
  • Auto rules couldn't reply to connector messages. Now they can, through the same safe send path and daily limit as the Inbox.
  • Auto rules missed senders shown only by email. Names now match, and the rule card shows the exact address it acts on.
  • The side pane felt narrow. It opens wider now.
  • First setup failed after a Python upgrade. It now rebuilds the environment.
  • Undo after Send is now 5 s, down from 10 s.
