This is probably fine insofar that it will do what you want (modulo the granularity of date.now -- is that seconds since 1970 or something else?)
There might be some other ways to mitigate to consider:
- use
POSTinstead of the defaultGETaction - in the response set
Cache-control: no-cache - probably others
