Releases: hawkff/clip-sync
Release list
v0.0.2
Adds rich text, file lists, images, the PRIMARY selection, and clipboard clears to the Wayland and X11 bridge.
- Copies
text/html,text/rtf,text/uri-list, the GNOME and KDE copy and cut types, and one image type, preferring PNG. Each format can be up to 16 MiB. - Syncs the middle-click PRIMARY selection when the compositor supports it.
- Clearing a clipboard, or closing the app that owns it, clears the other side when both held the same content.
- Skips an X11 format that stalls, so the other formats still sync within the 10-second limit.
- Accepts X11 INCR transfers that omit their size, which xclip sends for data above about 1 MB.
Install with go install github.com/hawkff/clip-sync@latest, or download an archive below. The amd64 and arm64 archives include the executable, README, and license notices. Use SHA256SUMS to verify downloads.
Requires one Wayland seat with ext-data-control or wlr-data-control, plus X11 with XFixes and XC-MISC. Restart the process after a display disconnect.
ARM64 is cross-compiled; runtime verification is pending.
