No more flash-close or half-painted opens

Shows no longer hide themselves on late focus flaps, and the window appears with content instead of the empty search box first.

What changed

  • Deferred hide everywhere: Focus loss past the settle window re-checks live focus before dismissing, so background load and notifications stop killing the overlay.
  • Reveal on first content: The window holds hidden until results paint (500ms cap) instead of flashing the idle state.

Bug Fixes

  • Flash-then-auto-close: Late focus events after idle or load hid the overlay instantly.
  • Search-box-alone opens: First paint showed the empty window before results landed.
