cc: v0.4.3 makes the status of its local agent tools visible and simplifies the shelf’s Drag control.

• Adds a read-only install_agent_tools.sh --check command that reports the CLI and Codex/Claude skill states as JSON.
• Shows agent-tool status in Settings, refreshes it when Settings opens, and checks once after an app version changes. The menu-bar menu points to setup or updates when needed. Installation remains manual.
• Makes Drag a text-only control with the same foreground color as the other shelf actions.
• Updates the product site with agent-focused examples, a black-only Notch preview, and matching shelf controls.

Download the DMG or ZIP for macOS 26 or later. Both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs are supported. Existing v0.4.x installations can use Settings → Check for Updates….

If Settings reports that agent tools need installation or an update, copy and run its setup command. Updating the app does not automatically install skills or replace edited files.

The app is not yet notarized by Apple; the first launch may require System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

cc: v0.4.2 makes every shelf item available from Drag and names the command-line tool cc-shelf.

• Drag one or more files, folders, images, links, or text together. Dragging keeps the items on the shelf.
• Show Drag and Clear All… only while the shelf contains items; disable both during imports and exports.
• Remove the top-right close button. Use Escape, click outside, or toggle the shelf to close it.
• Rename the CLI to cc-shelf while keeping the app name cc: and the cc-handoff skill.

After updating the app, rerun the bundled agent-tools installer to install cc-shelf and refresh managed Codex/Claude skill copies:

cc: v0.4.1 makes shelf actions easier to reach and keeps bulk deletion safe.

• Open Settings directly from the gear button in the shelf header.
• Clear all shelf items from the bottom-right button, with an item-count confirmation. Original files stay in place.
• Ask for confirmation again if an agent changes the shelf while the confirmation is open.
• Align header labels and icons and improve action-label consistency.

cc: now uses one name throughout the app, command line tools, agent skills, source code, storage, and distribution.

• Use cc: for the CLI and cc-handoff for Codex and Claude.

• Remove obsolete media and legacy installation branches while retaining protections for unrelated commands, edited skills, and failed updates.

Upgrading from v0.3.0: install this version manually. The app identity and local storage directory have changed, so Sparkle cannot upgrade the earlier app identity. Back up and transfer existing shelf data and settings separately if needed. The new local storage is ~/Library/Application Support/cc.
