Binaries for Windows, Linux and macOS are attached by CI; ExifTool is optional (only needed for non-JPEG/TIFF formats).

  • exiftool / SetFile helper processes are killed when the app quits, stops or crashes (Windows Job object, Linux PDEATHSIG)
  • adding files or folders never queues the same path twice ("n already in queue" in the status bar)
  • folders and the file-name sort use natural ordering (img2 before img10, case-insensitive)
  • ExifTool download is written to a .part file and renamed only when complete
