TL;DR
Adds a further curated set of mappings focused on sex, gender, pronouns, and karyotypic sex across CDISC/NCIt, FHIR/HL7, SNOMED CT, GSSO, GA4GH Phenopacket, and related sources. No schema changes. The mapping-set version advanced to 2026-03-27, the OWL/Turtle serialization was regenerated, and the mapping template workbook was refreshed.

Highlights
Added another batch of curated mappings centered on sex, sex at birth, gender, gender identity, pronouns, and karyotypic sex.
Expanded and refined source coverage across CDISC/NCIt, FHIR/HL7, SNOMED CT, GSSO, GA4GH Phenopacket, ONZ-G, and related namespaces.
Regenerated the OWL/Turtle serialization and refreshed the mappings template workbook to stay aligned with the current mapping set.

What changed
Mapping-set header
Updated mapping_set_version from 2026-03-23 to 2026-03-27.
Retained the existing mapping-set identity, license, creator metadata, and SSSOM table structure.

TSV content
Added and refined curated mappings focused on sex, gender, pronouns, and karyotypic sex.
Extended coverage across multiple source artifacts, including CDISC/NCIt, FHIR/HL7, SNOMED CT, GSSO, GA4GH Phenopacket, and ONZ-G.
Retained the existing SSSOM 1.1 table structure and provenance model.
Made no column or schema changes.

OWL/Turtle
Regenerated mappings/health-ri-mappings.ttl from the updated TSV source.
Updated the serialized mapping set version to 2026-03-27.

Supporting resources
Updated resources/mappings_template.xlsx to reflect the current mappings release.
Added a corresponding news entry in docs/news.md for the 2026-03-27 publication.

Breaking changes
None. This is a content expansion and supporting-resource refresh only; the mapping-table schema remains unchanged.

Migration guide
No schema or parser changes are required for existing consumers.

Downstream tools can ingest the expanded TSV and refreshed TTL as a drop-in update.

Consumers that filter by source namespace or concept area may want to refresh any source-specific allowlists, dashboards, or validation checks.
