Heard 2.0.9
Parrot keeps listening when you let go. If another app was already using your microphone (Siri, a meeting recorder, a call), releasing the Parrot key could end the conversation. Now only an app that starts using the mic while Parrot listens closes it.
Parrot never reads code aloud. Updates are spoken in plain words; a line of code from a session is no longer read out character by character.
Quit means quit. Quitting Heard from the menu bar now stops Parrot too, so your microphone and speakers are free straight away.
Leaner error reports. Repeated status checks fold into one line, and refusals that are expected stay quiet, so reports carry only real problems.
Fewer texts. A question Heard texted you is never sent again as a reminder. Answer it whenever you like.
Session summaries work every time. About half the short summaries Heard keeps of each session were coming back empty; now they arrive, so Parrot knows what every session is doing.
Clearer permission texts. When a terminal session asks to run a command, the text says what it will do in plain words instead of showing the raw command, and tapping your answer goes straight to that terminal.
Texts always say what is asked. A session waiting on you is texted with its actual question, never "I can't see what it asks".
One voice notice per outage. If Heard's voice can't be reached, you get one notice, not one a minute.
Fixes. A background check no longer leaves a log file inside the app, which kept its signature from verifying, and some quiet background errors are gone.
