CodexHub v0.4.8

  • Windows agent packages now include node-runtime\node.exe.
  • codexhub-farfield prefers the packaged Node runtime before falling back to NODE_EXE or system PATH.
  • codex-wrapper.exe also prefers the packaged Node runtime when launching OpenAI Codex CLI.
  • This means normal Windows desktop installs no longer require users to install Node.js separately for Farfield/Codex local relay startup.

Windows note: the Companion installer is still unsigned unless you sign it with your own certificate.
