Sada · صدى — Turn voice into text

The first release of the open-source, cross-platform restoration of almufragh. Transcribe Arabic audio to .srt subtitles + .txt using your own free Wit.ai token. Now available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

🚀 Install & run · التثبيت

1. Download the file for your OS below and open it.
   • Windows: SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC" (not code-signed yet) → More info → Run anyway.
   • macOS: right-click the app → Open the first time (Gatekeeper).
   • Linux: chmod +x Sada-*.AppImage && ./Sada-*.AppImage, or install the .deb.
2. Open Settings (⚙) → paste your Wit.ai token → close. (In-app "How to get a free token" shows how — it's free from Meta.)
3. Add audio files → press Start ▶. Subtitles are saved to a Sada folder in your Documents (open it with the folder button).

عربي: نزّل الملف المناسب لنظامك وشغّله (على ويندوز اختر More info → Run anyway إن ظهر تحذير)، افتح الإعدادات والصق مفتاح wit.ai المجاني، ثم أضف الملفات واضغط "ابدأ". تُحفظ الترجمات في مجلد Sada داخل Documents.

Notes

• Builds are currently unsigned (no code-signing certificate); see docs/BUILD.md. Signing activates automatically once a certificate secret is configured.
• Prefer no install? A browser version is in the repo (pnpm dev:web).
