PyHC Actions v1.0.1

Bug Fixes

PyHC Environment Compatibility Checker:

  • Fixed packages already in PyHC Environment (spacepy, pyspedas) now test correctly
    • Previously failed with 'no version of X==Y.Z' errors
    • Root cause: uv tried to resolve both the pinned PyHC version AND the local dev version
    • Fix: Exclude the package being tested from PyHC requirements before resolution
    • This tests 'can dependencies coexist?' rather than 'does package conflict with itself?'

PHEP 3 Compliance Checker:

  • Added support for setup.py/setup.cfg fallback when pyproject.toml is missing
    • Allows checking legacy packages that haven't migrated to pyproject.toml
    • Uses uv to extract metadata from setup.py/setup.cfg
    • Fixes PHEP 3 check for packages like hapiclient
